Koch Brothers- Puppet Masters

If you aren't yet familiar with the Koch brothers, they are the primary founders of the Tea Party. This past election cycle, it is recorded that they spent over 45 million dollars. According to an article published on the New Yorker in August of 2010 prior to the election, they predicted if there was a conservative Tea Party landslide, that it would be all of the Koch brothers, or the doing of the 'Kochtopus'.
So, why should we take notice of this duo? According to the Sierra Club website:
Koch Industries desperately wants us to believe climate disruption isn't happening: They emit eight times more air pollution than BP.
The Koch brothers keep it classy: Their Tea Party organization gave an award to a blogger who claimed President Obama was demonically possessed.
From 2005-2008, the Kochs vastly outspent even ExxonMobil in funding organizations fighting clean energy legislation.
The Kochs put profits before people: They were federally indicted for covering up illegal dumping of cancer-causing benzene and convicted of falsifying documents.
The Tea Party is in your underwear: Koch Industries' brands include Lycra, as well as Brawny paper towels and Dixie cups. The Koch brothers use their $35 billion fortune to fund the radical right .read more
President Obama said that this is the corporate take over of America. And this is with good cause. The Kochtopus has:
In Washington, Koch is best known as part of a family that has repeatedly funded stealth attacks on the federal government, and on the Obama Administration in particular. read more.
They were planning how to block clean energy and regulations that protect our health in 2011.
I don't know about other folks, but in the spirit of free speech, these 'demonically possessed' duo is something that we should take note of. They have their hands in the pockets of congress. The sad part of this is while there corporation Koch Industries was reporting profit, they were laying off thousands of people domestically and abroad.
